Real Tennis 2009 is a tennis simulation game for the Itouch and the Iphone. It features 8 different characters to choose from, different courts with different surfaces to play matches, wi-fi multiplayer challenge and a rather deep gameplay mechanic (as compared with other games in the same platform). I will first start off by saying that the game does not feature any real life player for they do not own any of the licences to do so. Thus, we have players with names such as Tanerer, Niki, Hyde etc. Some of them however do have a little bit of resemblance of real life tennis superstars (does not matter much anyways). There are basically two main game modes (excluding the wi-fi), the instant play and the championship mode. Continue reading

AYG 2009 – Pathetic
Are you aware of the Asian Youth Games (AYG) 2009 currently ongoing at Singapore? It is exactly like the Asian Games, except that it is for the youth. Well, I wasn’t really informed about it till they broadcast one of the group stages of soccer on television. I only knew about the YOG (Youth Olympic Games) but nothing about the AYG at all. I was shocked that there was such a thing and even more when I come to know that it is held at Singapore. Why? I don’t think I’m that stupid or ill-informed to not know about such big and somewhat global event. Instead, I’ll blame it on the poor management and organization of the event. Continue reading
Wanted Weapons of Fate Review
Wanted Weapons of Fate is based n the movie called Wanted. The game takes place hours after the events of the movie. You play as both Wesley Gibson and his father (switching in between occasionally at the start), mainly Wesley and basically continue the quest of finding out more about his family. The exact details of the story is available at wikipedia. Spoilers are plentiful, just for you to take note. In the game, you can curve bullets, enter slow-motion to catch your enemies off guard and even parry bullets with bullets. I’ll jump straight into the gameplay mechanics and share with you guys what I think about it. Continue reading
sgBeat – Singapore Twitter
Yet another local service has popped out. This time, it is a twitter clone. It works and serves the purpose of twitter. Of course, sgBeat caters mostly to the Singaporean users and its aims are that of introducing twitter to the Singapore netizens. Basically sgBeat is a twitter clone which links to twitter. Instead of “twitting”, you “beat” like how your heart would. I guess it means that you can write whatever you are feeling at that very moment so on and so forth. Instead of being a bird, you become a heart. How cool is that! Features are exactly similar to that of twitter with nothing out of the ordinary except the fact that by “beating” at sgBeat you have the ability to send that to twitter as well. This is rather smart in my opinion as Singaporean users will have little to complain or anything as sgBeat would serve as yet another twitter cilent thereabouts while giving them the ability to communicate with local twitters.

Zeno Clash – A Weirdly Fantastic Game
Zeno Clash is a PC only first person brawler, independently developed and produced by ACE Team. It is available through both Steam and Direct2Drive at the price tag of $19.95 (Around $30 SGD). Zeno Clash puts you into a world of fantasy, blending both the first person point of view with an engaging melee combat system. Visuals are out of this world (in terms of their concept and design) and is uniquely pleasing to the eye. Storyline wise is yet again weird mainly due to the atmosphere and setting it takes place in. All in all the combat system together with the splendid visuals make it one heck of a game, a game that is weirdly fantastic. Continue reading
YouthMEDIA – Blog Promotion Network
YouthMEDIA is yet another blog promotion network. Its purpose is roughly the same as of the ever popular EntreCard; to promote your site at others site. Instead of using credits etc to buy spaces on people’s site, YouthMEDIA allows webmasters to simply show their website randomly on other users’ site. Basically it is like a two way traffic whereby you have to show other people’s website in order for them to show yours. This is ordinary and nothing so special but what actually makes me dedicate this featured post for this service is mainly because of the local audience. I’ve been seeing more and more local start-ups catering to international (but of course having a bigger local member base) audience as well as that of the locals. When I say local I am referring to the neighbouring countries Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan etc (somewhere in that region). Continue reading
The Story of the New Graphics Cards
If you’ve followed my stories, you’ve known that I’ve recently purchased a whole new computer except for the graphics card. This in other words meant that I bought a nice shirt, a nice pants, a nice pair of shoes, funky socks and an awesome pair of sunglasses. However, my undergarment is 3 years old it is starting to itch. I’ve not gotten a graphics card due to the thinking that its price would drop (definitely would) and that I would get a good price for a good card in the near future. It wasn’t too much into the future (Good Friday 10/4/09) that I’ve purchased a graphics card due to some kind of promotion/offer. Â Also on that day (Good Friday), my cousin’s uncle told me that he had a spare card for it couldn’t work on his Starhub free computer. That itself acts as an catalyse for the purchase of a new card.
