Blogger & Advertiser
That is so right! Now you can easily make your photos talk by using a software that enables you to synchronize your speech with the photo. Easily make your photo’s mouth etc move to mimic a person talking in real life! How awesome is that! And the company is giving away free copies for bloggers who blog about this in their own blog! Yay! Here is a demo of how the thing works. Pretty cool huh!
Official site visit it for more information on how you can get your free software!
There is also another free software that is almost the same in terms of concept and idea. Check out the site! Fix8
You might be interested or not. But I find that it is very important to update my readers on my site current status as well as happenings on my personal life. I have not been updating my site for almost a week as recently there is not much interesting things to post or blog about. Game reviews that might be coming in before December 7th are as follows: Need for Speed: Prostreet, Eschalon: Book I. Why before December 7th? That is mainly because I am about to go abroad to Melbourne, Australia for a one week holiday. School is around a month away and textbooks ought to have me giving them some attention. Life is as normal as usual except I just got hooked onto the English drama series called Heroes. Started around a week ago, I have recently finished season 1 and now onto season 2. The show was and is AWESOME. Storyline fantastic, actors act well and everything was practically near perfect. You guys ought to watch it if you have not done so and continue to do so if you are as hooked as me. Right, so that is about it. Lack of updates cause there are lack of events that actually interest me. Oh and if you are a ping.sg user or something, you ought to take a look at their official t-shirt that have just been released. Take a look at it:
Have fun and wish you all the best in whatever you guys do!
I have played the simcity series since years back. I must say that the latest release by EA, Simcity Societies is definitely different especially in terms of gameplay. Is this difference positive or negative? Well, I would say positive for some, negative for others. It all depends on your personal likings and what type of gamer you are. I remembered back then I hated simcity games because they are simply too complicated and hard for my simple mind. When building power stations, you have to connect electrical cables in order to transport electricity to parts of your city. That is not all, water pipes etc all have to be planned properly and build in order for your city to run smoothly. I must admit that I do not have the cut to be a city planner in future. Gameovers are practically promised whenever I start a new game in whichever difficulty. The thing is, Simcity Societies is way different. Its simplistic gameplay and colourful graphics caught my attention and gave me enjoyable hours of fun. Yay for casual gamers, nay for hardcore players.
Why do I say so? That advertisers using Advertlets to carry out their advertisement campaigns are paying for practically nothing? Well, not really nothing, but shall we use the term, ineffective? Just take a look at some blogs around the net that uses Advertlets as a source of revenue to see what I mean (Screencast of what I mean below). Since Advertlets work on a pay per impression system (also on per click as well), I will assume that advertisers pay for ad campaigns based on how much impressions they want (obvious actually). However, the thing is that if you take a look at what some publishers are doing, what the advertisers pay for is not what they get. Pictures show a thousand words while videos show a thousand pictures thus a million of words? Take a look:
Right. So now we know the situation let us talk about it. Almost 3 or more advertisements repeats itself. That would mean the advertisers are paying let us say 1000 impressions, but all they get is? 1000 / 4 (easier to calculate) = 250 impressions! In other words, advertisers are actually paying 4 times to price per 1000 impressions. I tried reading through the faqs, terms of conditions etc but nothing touches on this subject. I don’t know but it sure looks to be quick money for publishers but as for advertisers? Ineffective and a waste of money.
