My first foray into VPS hosts started roughly 3 years ago. It had mostly ups and some downs along the way but I am really happy to have been able to find one fantastic company that hosted me for the past 2 years. I have now moved on to another new host and decided to appropriately leave my review of that company that have served me well, Iniz.com.
I’ve just, yet again, made the switch to a new host service provider. Reason being that the new plan that I am now on is slightly better specced compared to the  previous plan (for the same amount of money). The new service provider seems to be doing fine as far as I can tell. From the quick research I’ve done, past customer reviews seems positive and the lack of complaints or any serious issues is reassuring.
It is “recess”/”break” week for university kids here in Singapore! While mine ends today, others start tomorrow. In the course I’m studying, “break” week is more like “make or break” week. You’ll basically be piled with so much stuff that taking too much a break will literally break everything.
I’ve decided to put up a personal portfolio website on LeeQixian.com to document and showcase some of the works I’ve done so far. It will be the place where I’ll keep track of current, past and future projects that I am a part of. I’m very new to this web development industry so do let me know if you have any opportunities or advice for a newbie like me!
I still have about 2 years left before graduation. I should be increasing the tempo of personal projects and whatnot during these remaining schooling years. This site, SwiftWorld.net, will continue to be the place where I document my thoughts, publish guides, videos and everything else that interests me (as it has always been).
It has been roughly 3 weeks since I’ve gotten a 2014 15″ Retina Macbook Pro. The semester is about to hit its third week and I’ve been using much of the mac and thought of sharing some of my thoughts on the Apple laptop and my experience using it.

Today marks the start of my transition to the Apple world! Had touch and used (albeit only minutes) one before but never had I owned one. Gonna try it out and see if the experience is really worth the extra moolah every single device costs. Will perhaps keep a journal or log of my experience with it for the next few weeks.

I am back… for now at least. Been really busy with university stuff for the past few weeks. Semester has finally ended. Time to embark on some projects that I’ve been planning for quite some time.
