Beatboxing is a form of vocal percussion which primarily involves the art of producing drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using one’s mouth, lips, tongue and voice. It may also involve singing, vocal imitation of turntablism, the simulation of horns, strings, and other musical instruments. The wonders of what the human mouth can do. Hell Month
Ironically, the title coincides and relates with the Chinese 7th month, the ghost festival. Anyways today I’m writing not to talk about the ghost festival but more of school work and stuff. This month has been insane; or rather these past two weeks have been hectic and totally seem to destroy me mentally. Of course blame me for doing stuff last minute, but still all the deadlines are placed one after another and presentation slots allocated as well. It is crazy, philosophy presentation yesterday, English presentation today. Blame my luck though since my lucky random pick got me to the last slot of the class for English. Continue reading
PC Academagia Review
Academagia: The Making of Mages is an indie title by Black Chicken Studios. It is a life simulation game where it puts players into a situation of a young growing wizard. It plays as a text-based game with a Harry Potter like theme. In fact, the similarities between the Harry Potter world and that of Academagia are plentiful. Many concepts, ideas etc within the game can be seen in parallel to that of the Harry Potter series. If you are in love with the fantasy wizard and magician world, Academagia might be the perfect match for you. Continue reading
Guild Wars 2 Manifesto
Guild Wars 2 is looking real good so far. From the game trailers to the gameplay demonstration, developer diaries write-ups so on and so forth, the game sounds/looks/feels like it is going to be a blast. I’m really all hyped up over this game already. For those of you who do not know, Guild Wars 2 is the sequel (like duh) to Guild Wars, which is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) similar to that of World of Warcraft etc. Continue reading
Real Life Aimbot
If you’ve played First-Person Shooter (FPS) games online you will definitely know what an aimbot is. Yes, those bloody aimbotters who simply miraculously perform headshots every single time within the blink of the eye. An aimbot is basically a type of game bot or rather program/hack that helps the user to aim according to settings. I first came into contact with such cheaters in the popular FPS Counter Strike. It is widely used then by cheaters but since the introduction of anti-hack measures it died down by quite a bit. It is awesome and extremely dangerous at the same time should there be such a function in real life. Hit the jump for the real life demonstration of how an aimbotter rolls. Continue reading
iRoach 2 iPhone Game Review
iRoach 2 is an arcade kill them all game whereby it puts players into a situation where bugs go crawling across your screen and you simply tap them to squish squash and splatter them. The more bugs you kill the higher your score. Do note to leave the beautiful colourful and sexy lady bugs alone else you will receive a point penalty. Continue reading
Medal of Honor Gets Music Video Trailer “The Catalyst”
Music and gaming are a perfect match for each other. I mean you do know of some of the nicest sound tracks coming from certain games and so on. Recently there has been the trend for some of the major first person shooters to engage with some of the biggest music sensation of the current day and age. For example Activision engaged rapping sensation Eminem to help out with a trailer they had for Modern Warfare 2 and upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops. Electronic Arts jumped onto the musical bandwagon and also engaged one of the more popular bands Linkin Park to help out with the promotion of their upcoming game Medal of Honor. The trailers after the jump. Continue reading
