And so here I am again ranting about why I shouldn’t procrastinate and how I should start working towards the final goal. Hmm, alright with that said, I shall think about it later. Now it is time to relax and get my mind off how terribly I’ve done in the morning’s english literature oral examination. Totally love this quote I saw off the internet: “Hard work OFTEN pays off after time, but laziness ALWAYS pays off now.” So young and true.

Oh how I love double meanings and puns. Look at how cleverly I have titled this post! “The Mechanical Switchâ€, get it? “Switch†in the sense of the action of switching from a generic rubber dome keyboard into that of a mechanical keyboard and “switch†also means the mechanical switches that are used in the mechanical keyboards! Please bear with me, I have some literature oral commentary examination in just two days time and I’ve yet to study the texts in detail at all. Anyways, I felt that I have experienced using a mechanical keyboard long enough to express some of my thoughts and feeling about using one. This is by no means a review of mechanical keyboards in general as I’ve only tried the tip of the iceberg in such a field. Just stumbled across a short little animation that is done as a student graduating film in the year 2010 at Gobelins. The animation is about a king and a beaver. The story goes something like this. There is this beaver that is neglected by his friends and laughed at because he cannot chew a piece of wood. There comes the king who offers the beaver a task to do, to build him a castle. NZXT is a brand that is a brand that often is associated with sleek design and simply eye pleasing stuff. Don’t judge a book by its cover right? Exactly, not only does NZXT produce stuff that are great on the outside, the inner performance of their products shine as well. Take for example the recent NZXT Phantom as well as their other great cases such as the Lexa S, simply gorgeous and not at all lacking performance wise.
