I’ve recently bought a Chinese Android phone with two things in mind. I needed an upgrade from my Galaxy S1 and I wanted to try out a Made in China Android phone. I did mention a review coming up and yes it is indeed coming up and will be finished once I’ve decided that I’ve used enough of the phone to come up with a review and conclusion. While I am jotting down my thoughts as I used the phone extensively, I fiddled around with the idea of coming out with a dedicated site to these Chinese mobile devices.
China Android Phone
I’ve been eyeing those Made in China Android phones for quite some time already. In the past, most of these Chinese phones are termed as “scam†and pure rubbish “imitationsâ€. Indeed, they were horrible mainly because of the disgusting software that powers the phone. Hardware and software comes hand in hand. And for the phone to clap, it requires both hands. With the introduction of the Android OS, Chinese phones have become much better. It has gotten to the point where it can even compete with the more legit premium brands like Samsung, HTC etc.
TP-Link TL-WDR7500 Wireless AC Router Review
A new wireless standard often comes before the final standardization of the previous generation. Wireless N has been standardized and in comes Wireless AC. It has been in development roughly two years back and is currently in its drafting stage. With that said, commercial routers were only pushed out to the public about a year ago. It is thus a very new technology and there are many devices that do not or cannot utilize such a technology. However, it does not hurt to “future-proof†yourself. Today I have one of the newer wireless AC routers to share with you. It is the TL-WDR7500 by TP-Link. Read on for the full review.
Three More Pay Days
The countdown begins (I lied, it began long long ago). Three more pay days and I’ll be “free”. Never have I been so happy to not get money before. I want to get fired from this job so badly. Three more, just three more. I’ve wasted enough time.

ChicagoVPS Impressions (3 Months)
I’ve “used†ChicagoVPS (CVPS) for slightly more than 3 months now. That is a quarter of a year so I guess this will be a rather fair gauge of their services. CVPS is a web host provider; their main attraction is their insanely low price (even in the low end budget hosts market). Looking at the prices I’m paying for my previous host and comparing that to the prices offered by CVPS, I’ve decided to switch despite the mixed reviews from people.
Introducing the Ubuntu Edge
Did you know that there are other smart phone OSes besides Google’s Android, Apple’s iOS and Microsoft’s Windows? Mozilla’s Firefox OS is one of the up and coming mobile OS. Together with that, we have the Ubuntu OS for phones. Introducing Ubuntu Edge, a phone that’s not a phone. With the ability to dual boot both Ubuntu phone OS and android, the Ubuntu Edge can also act as a fully functional Ubuntu desktop PC. A phone? Nah, a mobile device rather. Read on for the introductory video.
